My last paper was pretty much a breeze. Not that I am smart or talented in anyways, but the fact is that it was relatively easy by any standards. Then again a management paper with only a 35% weightage wouldn't exactly cause anyone to loose even the slightest of their composure.
So I guess with that said, my days as a Poly undergrad has in a way come to an end. It feels so surreal. And the feeling the moment I stepped out of the exam hall was no different then the feeling I had when I step into school every other day.
Cheers of joy and relieve echoed down the hallway as would-be graduates left the school for the last and final time. Words of "Graduate!" and shouts of "Yays!" couldn't be any louder and appropriate.
As much as everyone was happy, it was only obvious that deep down inside a part of their heart ached. Having been from strangers, to friends, to brothers it wasn't easy to say good bye. And everyone joked about when they would see each other again, hoping for an answer that would be too distant into the future.
Come to think of it, I guess it means no more CS at Clementi for me, no more messing around with the lady at the photocopy shop, no more driving out for lunch and coming back for lectures.
Just a thought, wouldn't it be appropriate to play the song Graduation by Vitamin C just about now? Then again... The word "Cliche" springs into my mind.
Now it seems, everyone has a new agenda in their minds. And not surprisingly, it basically revolves around the same thing - preparations for national service. So I guess that means we'll relinquish our trusted pen whom we held on for our past 20 years of existence for a new and much deadlier ally - the rifle.
Well, I guess this post would more or less conclude my poly career and hopefully the next time I talk about Poly again would be about my results. Haha...
To all you poly peeps out there, many thanks and much appreciation for what you guys have done for me and put up with. Haha...
Life goes on...
