Excluding the first time that we met while we're at the airshow, we've gone on about 4 dates thus far. It comes as no surprise that I look forward to our dates and I always enjoy myself when I'm with you. We are able to chat and communicate quite well in person but yet somehow, it doesn't really translate to more text messages. I would think that most of the time, if people can chat face to face well, they can chat via message just as well. I guess this is probably one of the few occasions that are otherwise.
Sadly, we won't be meeting next Saturday but on the bright side, the itinerary for the next date has be planned. Now to find a date that would suit us both.

After picking up the pieces from my breakup, I found myself starting all over again. It all seemed so unfamiliar and foreign, especially when it was almost 5 years ago that I was at this very same starting point. Filled with excitement and anxiety, I steadied myself and took my first step.
Along the process as I met new women, I found that experience has taught me not to jump at the first available boat that pulls into the harbor. You never want to be caught leaving the harbor on another boat when the perfect one that you've been waiting for all your life pulls in. And so, while I went out with them a couple of times, I never really committed myself.
Eventually, I subtly turned them away, patiently waiting for what I was looking for and that was when she appeared. The way we met wasn't something I had expected. Then again, life never goes according to plan. One thing led to another and before I knew it, we've gone out for 3 dates now.
With every date, my fondness for her grows. She wows me in ways the previous few couldn't and its been quite a while since I've felt like that. She's down to earth, well mannered, punctual and in hokkien, "automatic".
Going out on a date with her is so much different from the rest because now, the stakes are higher. While I don't wish to give myself false hopes, I do hope that I can succeed in winning her heart.
